The Wahloo baby sling is designed to be worn on your left shoulder and "slung" around your right hip. If you are a lefty and/or prefer to wear it around your right shoulder and left hip, that's okay, too. You just might have a harder time reaching the toy ring. Putting on your sling | Cradle Carry | Front Carry | Hip Carry
There are many ways to carry your baby in a sling, and it may take you a few tries to find the position that's most comfortable for both you and baby. As baby grows and gets stronger, your favorite carries will probably change.
The most important thing to remember when wearing your baby is to use common sense. Don't do anything you wouldn't do if you were holding your baby in your arms, like smoke cigarettes, operate a vehicle, drink hot coffee or stand near an open flame.
Your sling should fit snuggly, but not so tight that you can't easily get your baby in and out of the sling.
Always make sure your baby's airways are unobstructed and that baby is breathing normally to avoid serious risk of positional asphyxiation (suffocation).
Be sure to keep a hand on your baby if you bend over, and always bend at the knee.
Never leave your baby unattended in a sling.
Choking Hazard - Small parts. Not for children under 3 years. The accessory ring itself is not a toy or teething ring.
